Wells for the World was just a dream of mine 8 years ago, as I looked for a way to use my knowledge of hydrogeology to help others. However, after trying to connect with other organizations that saw a place for me and understood my vision for Wells for the World, I sort of gave up until 2013.
In 2013, I met Rev. Matthew Maloney and Moses from Ewuaso (Kedong), Kenya in Walled Lake, Michigan, and Wells for the World took root. Matt had already provided 10 rain barrels to people in need in the Ewuaso and Maasailand area, and wanted to do more. Matt had been working with the Maasai in the Great Rift Valley, in Kenya and Tanzania for about 9 years.
