Potential for Elevated Fluoride in Groundwater

Well, we have our shots and passports, and have submitted our visa applications for Tanzania, so we are one step closer to our goal. I found it interesting and sad that I had to get a Polio booster because Polio is on the rise in places like Kenya and India. Another thing I found interesting was all of the venomous snakes (42 species apparently – the top ten can kill you with one bite – some in as little as 20 minutes) and insects, none-the-less lions and elephants, etc. that can kill you! That was not a good use of my hour and a half two nights ago; although, now at least I know. So, I asked myself, what have I gotten myself into, but at the same time, I’m not particularly fearful and look forward to helping the Maasai!
